Founder & Curator, The Curated Feast
Professional freelance photographer, art director, culinary maven, foodie, + storyteller. Based in Santa Cruz, CA,
My work philosophy extends beyond the 9-to-5, so in my 20's I founded an art gallery, a museum, and a farm in addition to always having a day job. I have built more than a handful of websites and blogs, created a photo-ethnography project of farmers across the U.S., and most recently launched The Curated Feast, a storytelling business that helps people discover the histories behind foods they eat every day. My strength as a storyteller lies in fondness for keen story listening. I look forward to hearing your story.
"Liz consistently delivers iconic images." — Chris McGilvray, Six Finger Films
My camera is an extension of my ear, mind, gut, and heart, just as much as my eye. I began my career as a professional photographer documenting tree buds and forest ecologies of the Midwest. My work has shifted in many ways since then, but I always come back to the lessons I learned from the forest.
